Handiwork

I have a thing for puppets– I love doing character development and then bringing that character to life in a 3D, semi-animate way. This is the Trinketmaker, a 24" high rod puppet made with wood, paper clay and a gourd.

The Blue Baboon Jazz Trio are a bit smaller- only 8" tall and made with fimo and synthetic hair.

I also enjoy working with fabric– combining patterns and colors can be such a challenge but has such a cool graphical result. It inspires me to experiment more with patterns even in my vector and photoshop work.
